Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Psychiatric - Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Support and advocate for patient needs during overnight shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current state RN license (KS or compact license).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preferred background in geriatric or psychiatric care.
• BLS certification.
• Must have recent travel experience and be willing to travel, with compliance to Tier 1 travel policies.
• Ability to work night shifts (scheduled hours 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM).
• References required upon application.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in psychiatric or geriatric psychiatric settings.
• Meditech electronic health record system experience.
• Experience with travel nursing preferred.
