Registered Nurse Hospice

Job Title

• Full-time, Days, 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care through 4-5 outpatient visits daily, including in facilities and private residences.
• Travel approximately 30-50 miles daily to patient locations, primarily to the first patient and then nearby areas.
• Ensure timely and compassionate patient assessments and interventions in accordance with care plans.
• Document patient visits accurately and maintain adherence to all regulatory and agency protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient comfort and quality of life.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Experience as a hospice RN with the ability to perform multiple home and facility visits daily.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel 30-50 miles daily.
• Must submit a completed 32-hour cover sheet at time of application.
• Availability for scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hospice or home health nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a flexible travel schedule effectively.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months to be eligible.
• No local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
