Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, temporary/travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a busy hospital setting
• Administer treatments, including chemotherapy and supportive care procedures
• Monitor patient conditions, manage symptoms, and document care in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
• Follow hospital policies and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or a medical-surgical setting
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in chemotherapy or infusion therapy
• Experience with oncology procedures such as pelvic exams, echo, or thoracentesis
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
