Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures on patients following established protocols.
- Assist physicians and licensed providers in the diagnosis of disease and injury through imaging.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain current certifications and adhere to all regulatory standards.
- Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Document procedures and ensure proper data management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N) (or CNMT by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in a CT department.
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient safety procedures.
