Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures on patients following established protocols.
• Assist physicians and licensed providers in the diagnosis of disease and injury through imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain current certifications and adhere to all regulatory standards.
• Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Document procedures and ensure proper data management.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N) (or CNMT by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in a CT department.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient safety procedures.
