Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, including post-cardiac, post-MI, and cardiac monitoring
• Administer and manage IV therapies, including heparin protocols, PICC line care, and blood product administration
• Interpret and respond to telemetry dysrhythmias, manage cardiac drips, and utilize rapid response teams as needed
• Support patients with respiratory management such as chest tubes, BIPAP, and oxygen therapy
• Assist with neurological, orthopedic, and surgical procedures, including CVA management and postoperative care
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions, wound care, and other professional nursing standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU/PCU/Stepdown nursing experience within the past 12 months
• Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri or compact license in hand at submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Ability to float between units and departments within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or teaching hospital experience
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including port access
• Oncology monitoring or chemotherapeutic administration experience
