Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Monitor patient mental health status and document progress accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Support patients and families through therapeutic interactions and education.
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and adhere to scheduled hours.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Availability to work weekends or predominantly weekends is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
