Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Contract, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, including those with neuro, trauma, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage ventilated patients using advanced medical equipment
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of intensivists, physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies such as cardiac or respiratory arrests, following established protocols
• Assist in procedures and patient management for a diverse ICU patient population

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure and active license in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in medical, surgical, neuro, or trauma units
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Experience with GE bedside monitors, Pyxis, Plum Pumps, Nelcor, Artic Sun, and Sub Zero equipment
• Flexibility and a patient-centered attitude, with a willingness to support team needs in a fast-paced environment
