• Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit for adult patients.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs with attention to cardiovascular and respiratory stability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, including IV drips and sedation as needed.
• Assist with post-cath lab procedures, pre- and post-op patient care, and managing complex co-morbidities.
• Float within hospital units, including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU, as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum of 18 months nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and float as needed.
• Ability to work 50% of weekends during contract.
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac care, IV starts, sheaths, and post-procedure patient management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac patients and sedations.
• Knowledge of telemetry and post-catheterization care.
• Previous work in teaching hospital environments.
• Ability to precept or shadow students is required.
