Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures including general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries

• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio in a 26-bed PACU unit located adjacent to the OR on the second floor of the main hospital building

• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Adhere to ASPAN Guidelines for post-anesthesia nursing practice

• Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend and one night per week

• Float to Day Surgery as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU or PACU — candidates without this background will not be considered

• ACLS certification required

• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

• Willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU setting

• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular

• Experience with Meditech EMR
