Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for antepartum, laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients, including lactation education and assistance.

• Deliver family-centered care encompassing well newborn care and Level 2 Nursery support.

• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize patient safety, care quality, and satisfaction; demonstrate ability to triage incoming patient requests.

• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures while consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines.

• Deliver patient education to facilitate plan of care, support informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.

• Collaborate with providers, staff, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes utilizing Relationship-Based Care principles.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience required.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required (for positions hired after 07/01/2018).

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated competency in healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking within a labor and delivery or LDRP setting.

• Experience working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.

• Familiarity with Just Culture principles and organizational values in a healthcare setting.
