Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional cardiac procedures including heart catheterizations, coronary and peripheral interventions, pacemaker implantations, AICD placements, Watchman procedures, and EP ablations

• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, stents, balloons, and ultrasound

• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and deliver high-quality patient care throughout all procedural phases

• Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system

• Participate in on-call rotation, including every other weekend and every other weeknight, with a 30-minute callback response time

• Float to related areas such as IR, ICU (if competency verified), and Pre/Post PACU Cath as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with IABP and Impella

• Experience with interventional cath procedures — both peripheral and coronary

• Current ACLS certification

• Ability to adhere to dress code requirements (navy scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures

• Familiarity with peripheral venous and arterial procedures

• Competency in ICU-level patient care to support float coverage
