Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel, Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nebulizer treatments and administer respiratory care to patients across assigned units

• Obtain arterial blood gases (ABGs) via arterial line draws and arterial sticks

• Manage and monitor ventilated patients using Servo and 840 ventilator platforms

• Assist with intubations, CODE responses, and Rapid Response Team activations

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team

• Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotating every-other-weekend and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

• Demonstrated critical care skills with proficiency in ventilator management

• Strong patient assessment skills

• Ability to function as a travel clinician and adapt quickly to a new facility environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR system

• Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or critical care setting

• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with a team-oriented approach
