Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients experiencing respiratory insufficiencies, including conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema

• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP, BiPAP, V60, Servo-1, Servo-U, and high-flow devices

• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using an electronic documentation system

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes

• Respond to call requirements as needed based on unit demands

Required Qualifications

• Active NBRC credential and valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) state license

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

• At least one prior travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stroke education and clinical experience

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system

• Active, disciplinary approach to patient care with strong collaborative physician relationships

• Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
