- Full-time, 3 days per week, day shifts (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on adult patients across a variety of settings, including acute care and outpatient departments.
- Operate imaging equipment from major manufacturers such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, and start peripheral IVs as needed.
- Ensure patient safety by following isolation precautions and maintaining equipment integrity.
- Document procedures accurately using Epic EMR, with at least 1 year of experience in charting.
- Float to other units or campuses based on census, provided the staff is qualified and trained for those areas.
Required Qualifications
- Active SCQRSA license/ARRT MR certification.
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
- Proficiency in adult acute care and outpatient imaging including contrast administration and equipment operation.
- Epic EMR experience (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with imaging of chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with/without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spinal regions.
- Familiarity with multiple imaging platforms and PACS systems.
- Experience working in a hospital trauma center setting.
- Ability to accept shifts on weekends, particularly Saturday through Monday.
