Travel RN – Mother/Baby (Postpartum)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and newborns on a 26-bed Mother/Baby unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
• Perform and assist with circumcisions as part of routine newborn care procedures
• Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, feeding, and overall infant health
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and lactation consultants as part of a structured day-shift team
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech/CPN electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 1 year of current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience (2 years preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Lactation support experience
• Newborn transitions experience
