Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: June 15, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Mother/Baby unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
- Perform and assist with circumcisions per unit protocol
- Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and infant health
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech/CPN EMR system
- Collaborate with charge RNs, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary team members to support postpartum patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Colorado (or Compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Lactation support experience
- Newborn transitions experience
- Compassionate, patient-focused personality with a collaborative, can-do attitude
