Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 10-Hour Shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures including stroke, pulmonary embolism, lysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during IR procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 8–10 days per month, with required call radius response times
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, including one weekend per month (Friday through Monday) with possible Saturday or Sunday coverage
- Complete holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of IR and/or Neuro experience
- Experience with stroke, PE, lysis, UFE, and moderate sedation procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of IR and/or Neuro nursing experience
- Strong familiarity with both IR body and IR neuro procedural workflows
