LVN / LPN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift) – 13-Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient ratio

• Operate and monitor unit equipment including bladder scanner, vital sign machines, and telemetry

• Document patient information and care activities accurately using Meditech EMR

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and Patient Care Technicians during night shift operations

• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 4 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN / LPN license in good standing

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience

• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• No on-call requirements for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of nursing experience, particularly in a Medical Surgical setting

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and related equipment

• Demonstrated owner mentality and openness to feedback in a team-oriented environment
