Travel - Speech Language Pathologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Monday–Friday with rotating weekends preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations; video swallow studies preferred
• Manage a shared caseload covering acute care and a 26-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Document patient care and progress using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Utilize TIMS equipment as applicable to patient care needs
• Serve a diverse patient population within a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Missouri
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Proficiency in bedside swallow evaluations
• Ability to work across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation environments
• Compliance with facility dress code: gray scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with video swallow studies (MBSS or FEES)
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma or comprehensive stroke center setting
