Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the treatment of patients with physical, emotional, mental, or developmental impairments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment programs focused on patient goals based on physician directives.
- Support patients with rehabilitative activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment instructing residents and families on home programs and daily living skills.
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning to monitor and evaluate patient progress.
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and therapy goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- Current COTA license valid in the state of Oregon.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Six months of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and professional demeanor.
