Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and external cephalic versions
- Monitor and assess high-risk obstetric patients using Centricity and GE fetal monitoring equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including charge nurses, CSTs, and flex staff to support unit operations
- Work independently as a self-starter while actively supporting fellow team members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification or AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical records
- PACU experience
- Operating room (OR) experience in an obstetric setting
