Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms via telemetry and EKG equipment
• Identify and report rhythm changes or abnormalities to the clinical care team in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of cardiac monitoring data
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends, to ensure consistent patient monitoring coverage

Required Qualifications

• Current Monitor Technician certification required
• Must successfully pass an EKG competency test upon first day of orientation
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule
• Availability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital or acute care telemetry setting
• Strong ability to recognize and interpret a wide range of cardiac arrhythmias
