Cath Lab Tech – Radiology / Cardiology (Cath Lab/EP)

Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30–17:00 or 7:30–18:00) | Onsite | 40 hours guaranteed per workweek

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures in a short-term acute care facility
• Provide support during interventional procedures including STEMI response cases
• Operate and troubleshoot EP devices in accordance with clinical protocols
• Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 10–12 call shifts per month with a 30-minute response time; call duration is 12–14 hours beginning at shift completion or 5:00 PM on non-working days
• Document and chart patient care activities using Cerner electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT(R) certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
• Strong hands-on experience with interventional procedures and STEMI cases
• Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with EP devices
• Valid Indiana state license required prior to start date; pending license acceptable if application has been submitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Ability to accommodate a block schedule and on-call rotation flexibility
