Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite | Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in the operating room, including instrument preparation, sterile field maintenance, and surgical assistance
• Support surgical teams across a range of operative procedures within a short-term acute care, teaching facility environment
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities as required
• Complete all required facility compliance modules in a timely manner prior to and during the assignment
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room surgical technologist experience in the applicable specialty
• Active BLS certification required
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required within 12 months of start date
• No pending certifications accepted; all credentials must be active and in good standing at time of submission
• Must pass facility-required EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation permitted)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission; no RTO additions will be accepted after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NBSTSA or NCCT national certification strongly recommended
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience welcomed; first-time travelers also accepted
