Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit in an RN capacity
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG data for cardiovascular patients
- Manage a full patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Float to other units within the facility as needed, maintaining full patient assignment
- Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test prior to start
- Experience in cardiovascular nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular med/surg environment
