• Registered Nurse - Oncology (Medical Surgical/Tele)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various cancer diagnoses, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and neobladder care.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and maintain patient safety.
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing; ability to interpret dysrhythmias.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and performing oncology-related procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology-specific certification such as from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a plus.
• Experience with clinical trials, brachytherapy, or related procedures.
