Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab / Acute Care

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned inpatient and acute rehab patients as directed by the ordering physician
• Plan and implement individualized, ongoing occupational therapy treatment programs
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs for each patient
• Independently manage a full patient caseload across inpatient and acute rehab settings
• Determine appropriate timing for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements
• Utilize EMR systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech for documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Occupational Therapist license required by assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience working with adults in outpatient and acute care settings
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross
• Ability to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required based on facility operations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in both inpatient rehabilitation and acute rehab settings
• Familiarity with Net Health Therapy and Meditech EMR platforms
