Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Accurately document patient information and care activities within electronic medical record systems
• Adapt to evolving departmental workflows, including an upcoming transition to a new EMR platform

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Connecticut)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
• Stroke certification required
• Experience with Meditech and EPIC EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new electronic medical record platforms
• Flexibility with scheduling; blocked scheduling is not available for this assignment
