Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, care, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut RN license or valid compact nursing license
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for stroke patients
- Orthopedic nursing experience
