Travel RN – Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the operating room environment across pediatric surgical cases including cardiac, orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, and plastics procedures
• Assist surgeons during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures in a pediatric setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the perioperative process
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to pediatric patients at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate and manage specialized equipment including Belmont Rapid Fusion devices
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members, anesthesia providers, and service line leaders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience
• Cardiac and open heart surgery experience required
• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Meditech or CPN EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric patient care experience beyond minimum requirement
• Dedicated CVOR or cardiac surgical nursing background
• Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines
