CT Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Operate head and body CT scanners to produce computer-generated cross-sectional images (CAT scans) for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform routine and special CT exams in accordance with established protocols, minimizing additional imaging and limiting radiation dose while maintaining productivity benchmarks.
• Complete all exams and documentation accurately within the Computerized Health Information (CHI) system and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), including charge capture and error resolution.
• Educate and prepare patients for their examinations to promote understanding, cooperation, and a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe practices, Just Culture principles, and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards to eliminate errors and enhance patient outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including potential float to additional campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program required.
• Active licensure/certification — will accept any of the following: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT), NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT), combination of ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT), CNMT and ARRT(CT), ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT), or ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT).
• BLS (CPR) certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider required.
• License must be in hand at time of submission.
• EPIC experience required.
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license must be included with submission to verify address.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or multi-campus experience in a radiology or imaging setting.
• Familiarity with PACS systems and electronic health record documentation workflows.
