Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during outpatient surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Perform scrub technologist duties for orthopedic and ophthalmology cases
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Float to additional outpatient surgery locations as needed, including Friday coverage at an alternate site
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist within the specialty
• Active National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and ophthalmology surgical cases
• Ability to float to additional outpatient surgery sites as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume outpatient surgery center setting
• Flexibility to adapt to varying case types and surgical teams
