Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular medical/surgical unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings for cardiovascular patients
- Manage a full patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity as needed, assuming a full patient assignment
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher (must be submitted with application)
- Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular nursing
- Ability to float to any unit in an RN capacity and carry a full patient ratio
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular medical/surgical unit environment
