Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including pneumonia, COPD, and other lung diseases.
• Manage a variety of medical patients with issues such as GI disorders, diabetes, stroke, and surgical recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care through daily rounds.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure coverage and support.
• Adhere to established protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid RN license for Alabama or a Nurse Compact license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing, working under a full professional license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for respiratory patients in a hospital setting.
• Ability to adapt to floating across units and hospitals.
• Strong interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
