Sterile Processing Technician – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in support of operating room procedures
- Ensure proper handling and processing of sterile supplies in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Perform quality checks on sterilization equipment and maintain accurate processing records
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and trays
- Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines throughout the sterile processing workflow
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience
- At least 1 prior travel contract in sterile processing
- Active CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CBSPDT certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an operating room or surgical services sterile processing environment
- Familiarity with a high-volume acute care hospital setting
