Surgical Technologist – CVOR (Certified Surgical Tech)

Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (18:30–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
  • Perform cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
  • Operate and document use of surgical equipment including crash cart
  • Support general OR, thoracic, and vascular procedures as needed
  • Chart and document accurately using EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with active certification
  • Minimum 5 years of total CST experience
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac and vascular surgical experience
  • Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting system
  • Ability to scrub and circulate; familiarity with crash cart protocols
