Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider order
• Operate and document within electronic health record and medication dispensing systems including Epic and Pyxis
• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently throughout the shift as required by patient care demands
• Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion and maintain physical stamina for extended periods of standing or sitting
• Communicate effectively in face-to-face, phone, and electronic formats with care team members

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT credentials are not accepted
• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license required prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Ability to work within network systems and clinical applications including Epic and Pyxis
• Ability to tolerate exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals as required in a clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
