Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across varying acuity levelsrespond to resuscitation situations within a dedicated resuscitation room environment
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Be prepared to participate in emergency response efforts during hurricane season (June–November) as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license – must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Community hospital experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a free-standing emergency room facility
- Familiarity with high-acuity resuscitation care and trauma response protocols
