Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care for patients in acute, swing bed, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings
- Provide treatment in patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and the rehabilitation gym
- Participate in rounds and care conferences as indicated
- Maintain frequent communication with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team regarding patient progress, equipment needs, and discharge planning
- Float between acute/swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as operationally needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner and NetHealth systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a hospital and/or nursing home setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a medical setting
- Familiarity with Cerner and/or NetHealth documentation platforms
- Experience working in a swing bed or rehabilitation-focused environment
