Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a night shift RN-to-patient ratio of 1:6/7
- Monitor and interpret medical remote telemetry data using electronic monitoring systems
- Document patient assessments and care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements as part of the standard scheduling rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Demonstrated competency in medical telemetry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trauma telemetry environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Charge nurse or leadership experience
- CMSRN certification
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
