Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Contract | Days | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call required (one night per week and every fourth weekend) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab setting, including diagnostic procedures and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Assist with EP Lab procedures including device changeouts, upgrades, ICD placements, and pacemaker implantations
• Care for patients presenting with diagnoses including AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, temporary pacemakers, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR devices
• Support vascular angiogram procedures and simple interventional radiology procedures
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including nights and rotating weekends

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Valid RN state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCI RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Experience with EP devices and advanced cardiac intervention procedures
