Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 5x8-hour shifts (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend and every other holiday | Facility work week: Friday – Thursday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of resident care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Dakota
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with geriatric or complex care populations in a SNF environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) used in long-term care settings
