Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Surgical ICU environment
• Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess, plan, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Accurately document patient care activities using the facility's electronic documentation system
• Adhere to unit floating policies as required and participate in rotating weekend coverage
• Maintain punctuality and compliance with badging, attendance, and shift scheduling policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in MICU or MSICU settings
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Exposure to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
