Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an acute care hospital setting, including a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress toward functional goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotating weekend and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to work within a fast-paced acute care or trauma center environment
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
- Experience in an acute care hospital or trauma center setting
