Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 40 hours per week | Shifts vary between five 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and two 8-hour shifts with two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) when covering weekends | Weekend and holiday coverage required | No call at this time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and manage post-operative patients, including those requiring telemetry and ventilator support
- Apply clinical expertise consistent with Level 1 Trauma experience in a high-acuity environment
- Maintain accurate patient assessments and documentation throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions and outcomes
- Provide weekend and holiday coverage as part of the night shift rotation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Ability to comply with Ohio state fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 1 Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and ventilator management
- Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of credentialing processes and timelines
