Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of approximately 1:5
- Perform IV starts and conduct telemetry monitoring
- Utilize Epic for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU or equivalent setting
- Active ACLS and BLS/BCLS certification
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must be willing to complete Ohio state fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
