Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 0000–0830, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts) with rotating weekend/holiday call

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies for surgery and associated departments and clinics
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized items in accordance with established protocols
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday call schedule

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience
• Active CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in rotating call coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a surgical or acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with sterile processing for multiple departments and outpatient clinic environments
