Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform circulating duties across a variety of surgical service lines including orthopedic, spine, neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and support staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
• Utilize standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems and document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekday evening per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) and weekend on-call approximately once every six weeks
• Prioritize patient experience and maintain clear, professional communication with all members of the care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital acute care experience in the Operating Room
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to change

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with both circulating and scrubbing roles in the OR
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with procedures such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine cases
