Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required (Variable)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma facility
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support neonatal patient outcomes
- Float between sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
- Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- NICU nursing experience with ability to manage varying patient acuity ratios
- Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
- Willingness to work variable weekend shifts as required
- Ability to float between nearby sister facilities if needed
- Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma or Level II Pediatric Trauma center workflows
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
