Travel EEG Technologist – Nights

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Three 12-Hour Shifts Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, STAT, and continuous video EEG procedures at the patient's bedside across all inpatient units including NICU, PICU, CHSU, BMT, NVICU, and MICU
- Apply electrodes using collodion and paste application methods in accordance with the 10/20 Electrode Measurement System
- Monitor continuous video EEG recordings, identify abnormal waveforms, and escalate findings to the physician for immediate review
- Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG and evoked potential (EP) procedures, including stereo EEG monitoring
- Provide patient and family education by explaining procedures, answering questions, and delivering compassionate bedside care
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality EEG recordings across all age groups
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EEG technology
- Proficiency in performing routine and STAT EEG procedures
- Experience with continuous video EEG hookup and monitoring
- Competency with collodion and paste electrode application methods
- Experience working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations
- Experience in critical care settings is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) credential obtained through ABRET highly preferred
- Experience monitoring stereo EEG procedures
- Experience working with elective Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) patients
- Familiarity with Natus Xltek equipment and documentation systems
